The front of your home can give passers by a massive first impression. If your garden is tatty, the windows and doors are all shabby and the driveway is cracked and weathered, then people will assume the inside of your home is too. If you have a wooden door then over time it will probably start to look a little tatty. A quick sanding down and lick of paint is often all it takes to completely transform it. If the wood is rotten and starting to look a mess then you may decide to replace the door either for another wooden one or for a UPVC one. Sometimes, driveways have been patched a number of times leaving the overall finish looking not quite as uniform as you may of hoped. Having a fresh layer of tarmac over the driveway or adding some new gravel can really make it look clean and clear once again.
